MR MASINGITA BALOYI

He started his career at the University of Johannesburg and then moved to South African Airways as a HRIS Manager. He moved up the ranks to the Cargo division as a Business Analyst in route planning and revenue Management. To further develop himself, Mr Baloyi joined First Rand Bank where he was a Strategic Business Analyst.
He also worked at IDT as a Senior Manager: HR planning and Organizational Design for four years and later promoted to GM: Human Resources. He thereafter went into Management Consulting at ATA Research before joining GAAL as a Chief Executive Officer

He is a versatile, decisive and analytical man, who is passionate and clear about the vision of GAAL which to is lead growth of the aviation industry in Limpopo.

Mr Baloyi has demonstrated strong leadership skill and one of his attention is rebranding the image of the Entity. He is a firm believer of fairness, harmony as well as producing the highest quality of performance. ‘GAAL is full of people with potential and is “Limpopo’s gold mine”, Mr Baloyi always says’.

There are four (4) disciplines with (eighty-two) 82 staff members including interns that report directly to his office and they comprise of Finance, Human Resources, Business Development and Operations. The internship programme, in particular is focused on developing and contributing to aviation skills of the Limpopo Province. He also attends Board meetings with various Board committees.

Outside of GAAL, Mr Baloyi is a family man with four children and in his spare time enjoys travelling, as well as playing golf.
